With effect from 4 April 2010 the rates for maternity, paternity and adoption pay increase to £124.88 per week (or 90% of average earnings if that is less than £124.88)

Statutory Sick Pay will increase to £79.15 for those earning more than £97 per week.

However, the statutory redundancy payments will not increase; they will remain at the level of £380 per week which came into force from 1st October 2009. This means that the maximum statutory redundancy payment remains at £11,400.

The minimum wage will also remain the same until October 2010
